Harp of Six
So the Harp of 6 cannot be played with fewer than five witches. The damage caused by Nettleine playing with just two witches was severe...
I can't calculate the exact risk level for this venture, but it seems... high.
However, I've always wanted to see the Tree of 6...
Yes, I'll do it. I'll help you.
Bonesand Cherry
I've never even heard of that to be honest. Maybe you should ask a professor.
Pamphlets
The east side of the Etchery has way more pamphlets floating about. I'm just glad they aren't flapping around our dorms yet.
Driftwood Serpent
Like from fairytales? I think they were supposed to be very sweet and gentle River Dragons.
They always saved the day in the books I read as a kid. I think they can also grant wishes. Maybe that's only in stories though...
Sorrowspores
Ah, sorrowspores! A classic botanical folly!
I may have to give it a go myself one day!
The Etchery
The Etchery has been called many things, but 'Etchery' stuck because about 1200 years ago the scholars here began creating etched spell tablets to give music to those who chose not to play, or didn't have the skill.
There were etched spells for just about everything - improving cooking, repairing damaged buildings, having a better nights rest, calling the cows home.
Unfortunately, in order to work correctly without human mana the Etchers of the time were chopping down trees from the Nocturne Forest to supply mana to the tablets.
And since the Nocturne Forest is extremely sacred and necessary for magic to work at all, that obviously had to stop.
The Silence
It's interesting how the Silence came to power - they came up with a theory that magic was limited and we'd run out if everyone knew how to cast spells.
There's never been any evidence of that, but they made such a stink about it that everyone grew terrified.
Then, handily enough, they had a solution that involved everyone else foregoing magic.
Toads
It's an interesting language and quite important to learn.
Healthy witch-frog relations are essential to a productive society.
It's ridiculously difficult to learn without magic though. We're lucky it's available through our Skill Trinkets!
