A fairy ring is nothing to worry about - until you set foot inside it! A lot of people are becoming too cavalier about fairies.

I highly recommend everyone read this book at least once.

Nettleine disappeared the same night the center of the woods was set ablaze.

She was an avid proponent of avoiding fire in the woods, but people assumed it was her and there was a huge sense of betrayal.

And to this day people are split on whether or not she went against her own word.

Oh, how interesting! Another student asked me about this last week. I had to admit I didn't know much about this creature at all. I only had the vaguest idea it existed.

The last one was seen over 1000 years ago. Some people these days speculate the dragon was just a myth... or confusion over the classification of a different dragon.

It's amazing to think that such beautiful creatures used to inhabit the lakes of this very island!

They did, in fact. Part of what contributed to their extinction was the removal of a very specific herb that grew along the waters they lived in.

No clue whose it is. Sorry.

We have such a lovely campus and so much to explore in the surrounding areas.

It was actually quite a terrible time for the native animals on the island. Many of them thrive alongside music, or consume humming and chirping insects.

But the Silencers were taking things in a very unnatural direction - cloaking swaths of the woods in quieting spells.

Animals were getting lost, separated from their packs, and going hungry. It's quite cruel to impose such a thing on the natural world.
