Privacy Policy

Who we are

weki.gg and its wikis (such as songsofglimmerwick.weki.gg) are an independent fan project. You can reach us at contact@weki.gg.

No accounts, no forms

You can use every page without signing up. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.

Google Analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you, your device and browser type and your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses).

It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years. We use this data only to improve the wikis. It is not used for advertising and we never sell it.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: until you accept, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Everyone can change their choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Hosting

The sites are served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect them from abuse, and may measure page performance without cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Stored on your device

Your theme, your collection checklists and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. As we hold no data that identifies you, the simplest step is to decline analytics; for anything else, email contact@weki.gg. Google and Cloudflare may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
