Fairy Ring
Oh, I love all that stuff about fairies trapping people in mushroom rings.
If I remember right, there's a potion that helps appease them.
There was some sort of herb...
Sorry, I don't remember. But there's a very popular childrens book about it. I'm sure the library will have a copy!
Gobbling Bluebells
Hmm. Maybe the herbotany professor would know more about that?
Harp of Six
I... I'm not sure I can do that. I have so much other stuff going on. And what about those pamphlets? Should we even trust Nettleine?
Bonesand Cherry
Hm. It sounds familiar. I think it used to be used a lot in archaic potion recipes. Mainly for healing if I'm remembering right.
Now it's considered high grade contraband. I think too many people were preparing it incorrectly with really bad side effects.
Like... turning bones to sand. Nasty stuff.
Driftwood Serpent
There's an old story my mom used to tell me. Something like the dragons were good friends with a certain bird. They would sing back and forth to each other.
I don't remember how it ended, but I think it was sad...
I bet you could find a copy at the library!
Sorrowspores
Oh, I'm so glad you asked! I didn't want to bring it up...
So this is what picking Sorrowspores does. How neat - I've heard stories but never knew anyone who actually did it!
Don't worry - it should be reversible. Check with Professor Sylvine.
The Etchery
Some of the greatest witches in history studied here. It was used as a secret place to practice magic, back during The Silence. I bet it's still full of mysteries.
The Silence
It was a period when members of the Silence forbade the use of magic - except for their own personal gain obviously.
My granddad said there was a lot of fear, but the people in his little neighborhood stuck together and made sure the kids knew some basic spells.
But a lot of people never did learn any music. I think it's harder to pick up after a childhood without magic.
Toads
At one point Frog Tongue language classes were mandatory at the Etchery. It was part of a big movement to improve witch-toad relations.
But these days language learning has improved so much - now it's just something we can learn with our Skill Trinkets!
I'm excited to do some interviews with toads.
Introduction
I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight... I found out I'm going to be working in the library! It's a dream come true for me!
Surrounded by ancient books and manuscripts all day - the writings of the greatest minds in history - how amazing!
How fun! I'm going to be working in the kitchens before transferring to a food establishment in town. Let me know if you find any ancient cookbooks!
What'll you be doing?
I'm sure you'll get something great!
